How We Began

The first inaugural Mrs. USA Worldwide Melinda Gonzalez was crowned on December 2,
2017, in a Pageant Celebration Ceremony in Omaha, Nebraska. The following year the
Mrs. USA Pageant came to life when Erin Koesters was crowned Mrs. USA 2018 at the
Scottish Rite Theater in Omaha, Nebraska. The Mrs. USA Pageant continues to expand
and grow and we are so excited to be adding State Directors to the Pageant.

Mary Lopez

Director of Operations for Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC, Mary brings more than 10 years of administrative and organizational experience to the organization. She manages applicant screening and follow-up, oversees delegate onboarding and registration, coordinates contracts and required documentation, maintains operational procedures, supports communication workflows, and ensures consistent communication throughout the delegate experience. Through her organizational leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to efficiency, she helps ensure the smooth operation of the pageant system and supports its mission of empowering women worldwide.

Ellen McGovern CEO

Founder and CEO of Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC, Ellen established the organization with a vision to unite women through beauty, inspiration, and integrity. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Music Education, with 40 years of professional experience teaching, directing, and producing entertainment and pageant events. In pageantry, she is the crowned recipient of four Mrs. state titles and two Mrs. international titles from: American, USA Universal, International, Platinum Universe and Worldwide. As the driving force behind the Mrs./Ms. USA and Mrs./Miss Worldwide Pageants, her leadership continues to shape the organization’s growth, national and international presence, and commitment to community service. Ellen has built a platform that celebrates accomplished women, encourages meaningful community impact, and inspires women worldwide to lead with integrity, and make a difference.

OFFICIAL RULES and REGULATIONS

 

The following are the Official Rules and Regulations of the Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC, which includes MRS USA, MS USA, MRS WORLDWIDE and MISS WORLDWIDE divisions. Contestants must read and adhere to the following rules and regulations to participate in the Worldwide USA Pageants, System. To be eligible as a contestant:

 

  • Contestant must be age 21+, By July 1, of the pageant year. 
  • Contestant should not have a criminal conviction. Pageant reserves the right to determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis. She must be born female, (if married, then married to a born male.)
  • Contestant should be in good health and have moral integrity. 
  • Contestant vying for a state/country title must be a Citizen of the USA, or have connections with that state/country. 
  • Contestant can be selected to participate as a delegate “at large” if there is no competition in state, or region she represents. 
  • Contestant will be subject to a registration fee, title fee and a crown/sash fee. Fees may vary for each state and/or country. 
  • Contestant must never have, nor will she during her reign, pose for any photography, video or film associated with any nudity or pornography. Nor has she ever or is presently involved in any form of employment that involves partial or complete nudity. 
  • Contestant will permit Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC and their licensees the right to use contestant’s photograph for publicity purposes in connection with all Worldwide USA competitions. 
  • Contestant will permit Worldwide USA Pageants, and their licensees to televise live or by the use of film or videotape any portion or all of the competition. 
  • Contestant agrees that all decisions of judges at every level are final and irrevocable, and that she will abide by all regulations at the State/National and International competitions. 
  • Contestant, if selected, agrees to attend the National/Worldwide Competition as the State or Nation Representative, and abide by all rules and regulations required, or forfeit the title. 
  • The Contestant understands that if selected as a winner in her competition, that for one year her professional affairs as said winner will be under the sole management of MRS USA, MS USA, MRS WORLDWIDE, MISS WORLDWIDE and Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC and/or their licensees and that she will not give any written or oral endorsements commercially without the expressed permission of Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC. Contestant further acknowledges that all rights for any appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, etc. resulting from winning or being a contestant in any regional, state, or international competition affiliated with MRS USA, MS USA, MRS WORLDWIDE, MISS WORLDWIDE and Worldwide USA Pageants, LLC, shall belong exclusively to same.

What is the main focus of Mrs. USA/Worldwide Pageants?

We are looking for women who are passionate about serving their communities either through supporting their charity of choice, or promoting their own personal platform. They can be women of various heights and dress sizes, and although keeping fit and practicing a healthy lifestyle is very important, they do not need to be a model perfect size.

 

Where is the 2026 Pageant?

The Nathaniel Center. Houston TX.

 

Do I need previous pageant experience or talent to apply?

You do not need a previous title or talent! We accept all levels of competitors!

 

What is the judging criteria?

25% Communication, Beauty & Inspiration

25% Private Panel Interview

25% Fitness

25% Evening Gown

 

How much is the pageant registration fee?

Experience grandeur without the grand price! Our mission is to elevate women and platforms, not costs. You’ll find our fees are remarkably affordable! However, due to pageant confidentiality we cannot disclose the total amount prior to submitting an official application. We do offer payment plans to allow everyone the opportunity to be a part of the pageant. Please note that all registration fees are non-refundable.

 

Is there an application fee?

There is a $25 one-time, non-refundable application fee due at the time of application submission.

 

Is there a non-compete clause?

No.

We do not offer refunds and there are no exceptions.
